We are seeking a skilled and reliable Maintenance Technician to join our team. This role is responsible for ensuring the proper operation and upkeep of our facilities and equipment. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background, hands-on experience in maintenance tasks, and a proactive approach to identifying and resolving issues.
Responsibilities:
Perform routine maintenance tasks such as inspecting, lubricating, and cleaning machinery and equipment.
Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems to ensure operational efficiency.
Conduct preventive maintenance activities according to schedules and checklists.
Respond promptly to maintenance requests from departments to minimize downtime and disruptions.
Maintain inventory of repair equipment and supplies, and ensure they are properly stored and utilized.
Monitor and maintain building systems such as HVAC, lighting, and security.
Collaborate with contractors and external vendors for specialized repairs and services.
Adhere to safety protocols and regulations while performing maintenance tasks.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent a technical degree or certification in maintenance or a related field preferred.
- Proven experience as a Maintenance Technician, Maintenance Mechanic, or similar role.
- Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems.
- Ability to read technical manuals and drawings.
- Good understanding of safety procedures and guidelines.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Certification in HVAC, Electrical, or Plumbing systems.
- Experience with building automation systems (BAS).
- Knowledge of predictive maintenance techniques.
